1978

Our Founder

Started in 1978 by P.P. Jose. Initially named “Justin Coffee Works”, the brand started with coffee production and was located in a rented building, with a business radius of only 10km.

1984

Own Building

The company constructed its own building, and Justin Brand Coffee quickly became a household name, popular for its quality and taste.

1993

New Leaders

The founder's first son, Justin P Jose, joined the family business. In 1998, the second son, Jaison P Jose, also joined the family business.

1996

Silver Café

In 1996, the brand introduced a new premium quality coffee brand, “Silver Café”.

2001

Wayanadan Coffee

The company also introduced a new brand in 2001, “Wayanadan Coffee”, which offered coffee in 50gm and 100gm categories.

2004

Silver Café Strong

By 2004, the company had expanded its product range, introducing premium tea under the brand name “Silver Strong”.

2006

Business Expansion

In 2006, the business expanded to all over Kerala.

2008

Chukku Kappi

In 2008, the brand introduced Chukku Kappi, a traditional South Indian coffee.

2009

Silver Tamarind

The brand expanded its product range in 2009 with the introduction of “Silver Tamarind”.

2013

Pickle Business

Entered pickle business with “Tholur Special”, contributing 50% of company revenue.

2015

Curry Masala

Introduced fish masala, sambar powder, meat masala, and chicken masala.

2018

More Products

Added mixed veg pickles, pulinchi, and palm jaggery.

2019

Spice Powders

Introduced chilli, coriander, and turmeric powders.

2020

Chuttarache Chamanthi

Launched Chuttarache Chamanthi and started Tholur Trading.

2021

Food Way Foods

Started Food Way Foods offering tea powder and Chukku Kappi.

2022

Tholur Foods Pvt Ltd

Launched new subsidiary Tholur Foods Pvt Ltd.
